FOOD PANTRY & CLOTHES CLOSET

·                    Mission:  To feed the hungry, provide clothes for those in need, and create a “trust relationship” that can lead people to Jesus Christ and make positive changes in their lives

·                    Hours:  10 AM to 2 PM; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

·                    Staffed by community volunteers

·                    Food – Packaged Groceries & Baked Goods

o                               Food available once a month and is recorded in the regional MAAC system

o                               3-Day Supply known as a Care Package is given in emergencies

o                               Packaged foods are collected and donated by churches, Harvester’s and Government Commodities

o                               Perishable foods are collected from supermarkets and are available daily

·                    Used Clothing – for Men, Women and Children

o           Clothing is donated by individuals and churches

o           Clothing is sorted, hung, and recorded by volunteers

o           Individuals may receive clothing once a week

o           Greatest Needs:  Men’s jeans, new underwear and socks, and children’s clothing
