SUBSTANCE ABUSE RECOVERY MINISTRY –

HEART TO HEART PROGRAM

·                    Mission:  To help persons break the chains of substance abuse that have taken over their lives

·                    Program is led by Greg Parr, a recovering addict; all Program staff are certified by the State of Missouri to work in the Access to Recovery Program

·                    Access to Recovery includes:

o                   Case Management

o                   Treatment Referral

o                   Pastoral Counseling (individual or group)

o                   Bible Study/Spiritual Life Skills

o                   Emergency and Extended Housing

o                   Bus Passes

o                   Drop-in Center  (Food Pantry / Clothing Room)

o                   Work Preparation

o                   Family Engagement

·                    GUCM – Heart to Heart

o                   Provides speakers for churches, schools, and civic groups on substance abuse

o                   Provides administrative support for transitional living

o                   Counseling/Sponsors individuals in recovery

o                   Cocaine Anonymous – Fridays – 7 to 8 PM

o                   Celebrate Recovery  – Thursdays – 7 to 8 PM
